What Georgie checks
Three things decide whether AI can use your page.
Every product page is scored on what it says, how it's built, and whether AI crawlers can reach it.
Content completeness
The facts shoppers ask AI about in your category, like materials, fit, care or compatibility. Georgie checks whether each one is missing, mentioned or detailed.
- Facts chosen for each product category
- Scored in the language of the page
Technical readability
Whether the page tells machines what it is, in a way they can trust.
- Product schema, with price in schema and on the page
- Structured data that matches the visible page
- Specs, reviews, meta and Open Graph tags, image alt text
Crawler access
Whether AI crawlers can fetch and read the page at all.
- AI crawlers allowed in robots.txt
- No noindex or noai directives, a clean canonical
- Content rendered on the server, not only in the browser
Site-wide signals
Plus the checks that apply to your whole store.
Crawler policy
robots.txt rules for AI crawlers, an accessible sitemap, and an llms.txt if you publish one.
Entity markup
Organization, WebSite, BreadcrumbList and FAQPage structured data that tell engines who you are and how your store is organized.
Freshness
Date signals that show AI engines your content is current.
Fixes you can ship
Not “improve your content”. The exact words, and where they go.
Each product gets up to five fixes, highest impact first, phrased so your team or ours can ship them the same day. Georgie also checks whether the page can answer the questions shoppers actually ask AI about it.
- Add “Care: machine wash cold, tumble dry low” to the product description, under Details.
- Add the fabric weight, for example “Weight: 165 g/m²”, to the specifications table.
- Is a linen duvet cover good for hot sleepers?
- How do I wash a stonewashed linen duvet?
- What thread count is this linen duvet?
Trust Score
What AI weighs before it recommends you.
AI engines favor stores that look real and that other sites vouch for. Trust Score checks both sides.

FAQ
About AI Readability
- Do you need access to our site?
- No. Georgie reads your public pages, the same way AI crawlers do. Connecting Shopify is optional: it adds your full catalog and sales data, so fixes can start with your best sellers.
- Which ecommerce platforms does it work with?
- Any storefront with public pages. Shopify can also be connected directly for a complete catalog and sales counts.
- Does it work for French pages?
- Yes. Each page is scored in its own language, against facts chosen for its category, so a French product page is judged in French.
- Will the score move just because you changed the test?
- No. The facts Georgie looks for in each category are locked once they're set, so a re-scan measures your changes, not ours.
- How is this different from an SEO audit?
- An SEO audit checks how a page ranks. AI Readability checks whether an AI engine can read the page, extract the facts a shopper asks about, and trust them enough to recommend the product. See AI visibility vs. SEO.
