Georgie
Privacy policy
Last updated: October 4, 2026
This policy explains what personal information Georgie collects on getgeorgie.com and through the free AI visibility scan, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and how you can exercise your rights.
Who we are
Georgie is operated by Novatize, 330 Saint-Vallier Street East, Suite 330, Quebec City, Quebec G1K 9C5, Canada.
The person in charge of the protection of personal information is François-Jérôme Gosselin, CEO. You can reach him at contact@novatize.com (subject: “Privacy — Georgie”).
What we collect
When you run a free scan, we collect:
- your work email address;
- the website and, if you enter one, the competitor you want to compare with;
- the language you used;
- your IP address, only to limit abuse of the free scan. We keep a one-way, irreversible hash of it, never the address itself;
- the scan results: information about your public website and how AI engines answer questions about your category and brand.
What we don't collect
This site does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for a short period, for security and to keep the site running.
Why we use it
- to run your scan and show you the results;
- to follow up with you about your results and our services. A Georgie strategist may contact you by email. You can ask us to stop at any time;
- to prevent abuse of the free scan, with daily limits per email and per IP address;
- to improve the scan.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it to train AI models.
What we send to AI providers
To run the scan, we send AI providers questions about your product category and brand, and public content from your website. We never send them your email address or your IP address.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run Georgie, and only for that purpose:
- Vercel (website and application hosting);
- Supabase (database);
- Inngest (background processing of scans);
- HubSpot (customer relationship management, for follow-up);
- OpenAI and Anthropic (AI processing of questions and public website content only);
- Firecrawl (retrieval of public web pages).
Information processed outside Quebec
Some of these providers store or process information outside Quebec, mainly in the United States. We choose providers that are bound by contract to protect personal information and to use it only to provide their service to us.
How long we keep it
- Free scan records (email, websites, hashed IP address and results) are deleted automatically 24 months after the scan. Your results link stops working at that point.
- Contact information in our CRM is kept for as long as we have a business relationship with you, or until you ask us to delete it.
Your results link
Your results are available at a private link that is hard to guess and is not indexed by search engines. Anyone you share the link with can see your results.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- correct it;
- delete it;
- stop contacting you, or withdraw your consent;
- receive it in a structured, commonly used technological format.
How to exercise your rights
Email contact@novatize.com with the subject “Privacy — Georgie”. We will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (cai.gouv.qc.ca).
Security
Information is encrypted in transit. Our database is not publicly accessible, and access is limited to the people who need it to run Georgie.
